Maite Perroni is one of the most prominent and successful artists in the Latin World. She has starred in the hottest, most popular "Telenovelas" for over a decade. Chavis joined forces with the Ad Council in 2018 for their Because of You Campaign shining a light on the dangers of bullying in honor of Bullying Prevention Month. Their partnership comes after Chavis released a now viral video of him addressing negative comments left on his social media accounts. Adding weight to his remarks, Chavis received widespread positive feedback from fans and peers alike, exposing the prevalence of the issue in today’s social media landscape and need for the support from strong public voices.
In spring 2018, Chavis took the WE Day stage for the first time, to encourage students across North America to continue supporting their community through WE Schools fundraising and volunteer initiatives. Breaking into entertainment as a model at just 4 years old, actress Miya Cech most significant role yet was as fan favorite ‘Zu’ in the summer blockbuster film, “The Darkest Minds.” Starring Bradley Whitford, Mandy Moore and Amandla Stenberg, the film, written by Chad Hodge and directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, is an adaptation of the #1 New York Times Best Selling book series of the same title, written by Alexandra Bracken.
The film follows a select group of children who attained superpowers following a worldwide pandemic that wiped out most of the world’s youth. ‘Zu,’ the youngest in the group who gained the power of electricity, chooses to remain mute due to the trauma she experienced during the pandemic. Portraying ‘Zu’ has given Cech the opportunity to explore acting and performance art on a deeper level, learning the importance of nonverbal expression and performing her own stunt work.
Originally from Northern California, Cech who now resides in Los Angeles, made her television debut in 2015 as a guest star on the CBS action crime drama “Hawaii Five-0,” an experience that prepped her for her burgeoning career. Rc Williams had his first stage play, Where There's a Will There's..., published in 2010 by JACneed publishing. He graduated Cum Laude from Brooks Institute with a BA in feature film production in 2009. In 2015 he returned to school in the Screenwriting MFA program at Chapman University where he wrote the short film Radio Silence which premiered at San Diego Comic-Con’s International Film Festival. Rc has served as an advisor and co-writer several short films as well as feature scripts. Currently, he is developing a spec pilot and completing a polish on the feature script of Bridesman.
