Pack a Lunch and Wear Comfortable Shoes

When we set out to make this piece, our goal was to empower children throughout the country, so that they could better operate out of love and not fear. We believe that this approach is crucial to help curve the epidemic of bullying in the United States. If we can better help children to love themselves and feel empowered, it will lessen their need to project their fears onto others.

Pack a Lunch and Wear Comfortable Shoes is the brainchild of producer/director, Tony Estrada. This 1.5 - 2 hour program includes a screening of ¡Viva la Revolución!, a discussion about the film’s anti-bullying themes, and a talk on self-empowerment that helps children to better define their principles and personal moral compass. Moreover, we talk about the art of vulnerability and boundary setting, and the power that it provides each and every one of us when used appropriately. The presentation is a high energy, musically enhanced, emotionally charged, and perspective shifting event that engages children on a level that they can comprehend and utilize to influence their actions in the future.
